The clever design of the Venus allows you to install the staircase in a straight flight with a rigid handrail on one side included as standard. Click on the images below to see the size of the configuration for the Venus 2 Spacesaver Stair.
The kit includes balustrading for one side and there is an option for balustrading on the second side on the Accessories Page.
Generally, it is best to form the opening for the staircase at least as big as the staircase layout itself.
The standard kit has 12 risers (11 treads) and the tread rise is adjustable from 190mm to 235mm, although UK regulations have a maximum tread rise of 220mm. The standard kit will suit floor to floor heights of up to 2796mm (or 2640mm to comply with UK Building Regulations). If your floor to floor height is higher than this, you simply need to add additional tread kits as required - with a maximum of 2 additional tread kits. See the Accessories page for more information.
Everything you need to install the Venus - all fixings and fittings, plus clear installation instructions and an installation DVD, is included in the kit!
